Rajat Chhabra

Rajat has extensive experience in handling taxes, including VAT, Customs, and Economic Substance Regulations in the UAE and GST, Foreign Trade Policy, SEZ/EOU regimes and State/Central incentive schemes in India.

Rajat has assisted numerous clients (multinationals and local business houses) in transitioning to VAT in the UAE and GST in India. Rajat has been advising various Fortune 500 Companies in sectors such as financial services, manufacturing, oil and gas, petroleum, infrastructure projects, renewable energy, and food processing, among others.

He has been representing clients in proceedings before various quasi-judicial and judicial forums. He has also authored several articles in various publications. Besides, he is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences in the UAE and India.

He has worked in premium law firms and top-notch consulting firms before setting up BayShore Consulting.

Rajat is a Chartered Accountant (India) and a Certified Public Accountant (USA) by qualification. He is also a law graduate (India) and has done his Bachelors in Commerce (Hons.) from Delhi University (India).
